This was the second hotel in a small village we stayed in (other was in Azay-le-Rideau), and I absolutely loved this one, too. This charming hotel in a 1700's home was at the top of the hill, a block down from the Basilica. The staff was wonderful, the room was very comfortable and clean and updated, with plenty of room for me and my luggage (my room had a double bed). Fabulous boutique B&B at the top of the hill in Vezelay. Well appointed rooms, friendly staff and amazing restaurant. Would highly recommend.

This was my third stay in this classic hotel in Vézelay. Always lovely with charming rooms. We had a beautiful view of the countryside. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open the night that we stayed.

The staff were incredibly helpful and the chateau exceeded our expectations. Very peaceful to walk around the property, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Very cool place! The restaurant was very nice with great service and outstanding food. This is a hidden gem for sure. Clean room, great setting along a small river. Stay here again, yes!

Beautiful bed and breakfast, a little difficult to find, best to park near the centre and walk. Ann Marie and her husband were so welcoming and friendly.

A truly amazing place - Historic buildings, very warm and inviting rooms and with an excellent restaurant which has a wonderful wine list. Highly recommend.

Very cute, comfratable, large room, good water pressure/temperature, the shower-tub combo was perfect. I would stay here again. However, the check in isn't right on Hotels.com. It says that you have to contact the property for check in instructions and lists a phone number. It took us multiple attempts to reach the hotel, and when we did get through they said they didn't speak English and hung up (the listing says they speak English and French). Great stopover

Wonderful place, young, efficient and friendly staff, great breakfast, a really charming place with friendly and attentive service

I suspect that it’s not tourist season yet and there’s no reason to open up the town-it’s still cool and rainy. Not much going on but really fine for our needs. Hotel is clean and modest. Staff is excellent.
