"Lovely, historic hotel in the heart of Avignon. Staff was excellent! Very walkable location to stroes and restaruants.. When I checked in I was told that breakfast was included but when I checked out I was charged for each day. The breakfast was rather minimal and the eggs were always cold. Otherwise ths is a very nive place to stay. "

"Very very cute hotel! Parking was a little difficult but other than that really convenient. Coffee and croissants are left on the table for you to have anytime."

"The apartment was in a perfect location to explore the old town, as well as being only a short walk from the metro and bridges to other parts of the city. It was easy to check in and out. The apartment itself was a wonderful, comfortable haven to return to after a day of exploring. It was good having the kitchen and a washing machine available. Not a problem for me but do be aware that it is up almost 60 steps, some of them quite steep, if mobility is an issue. "

"Our family of seven really enjoyed our stay at the Fourvière. The rooms are very spacious with an amazing shower. Service was excellent. We enjoyed using the pool and spa area and the courtyard for drinks. It’s a quick walk to the funicular to take you to the city below. "

The only complication is that you cannot drive to the hotel as it is in the historic center - however follow the instructions you get in their email upon reservation - just for the drop off and pickup of luggage the very helpful hotel staff makes that possible! They also offer a great deal on city parking! "

"We stayed in “The Belvedere” 74 steps up and above the top floor. The view and the space are worth the climb. The room is simple, tasteful , and spacious. The spiral stair between the main room is a bit challenging at night but the feeling of the exposed wood and stone give a nice “Old World” feeling."
