"We cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. It was the gem of our trip in Southern Spain/Portugal. The staff was so helpful and accommodating to any questions, needs or reservations we wanted to make. The room was clean, well maintained, quiet (see note below), and comfortable. The breakfast, which was included with the stay, was beyond delicious. We got to enjoy the beautiful pool area both afternoons we were there. It was within walking distance of all the local attractions within Evora -however be prepared for hills in the town! There is a free parking lot a two block walk from the hotel. We did end up driving up to the property to drop our luggage off and then parked the car as the cobblestone paths in town are uneven.
The only downside to the stay, which was completely out of the control of the hotel, was there was jackhammering going on the opposite side of the property from our room. It went on from roughly 8:00 to 14:00, with a break for lunch. There was a lot of construction going on in Evora, as well as the other towns we visited, so it was what it was and since we were out site seeing during the day it didn't really impact us but it was loud."
