"This beautiful rustic cottage was ideal for our two week stay in mid May with our daughter and her husband. It’s on a hillside, is very private, has a lovely terrace overlooking the tiny village and the ocean. We had the local beach to ourselves and enjoyed several nearby pristine (and empty) beaches as well. There are excellent family-run tavernas within walking distance and many hikes in stunning nearby gorges. Ioanna welcomed us with homemade jam and biscuits and the local raki liqueur and...

"Not easy to find on arrival, but near the beach, the sea and the aquarium. Walking distance to restaurants. The hosts were welcoming and gave us pointers for places to visit during our one-week stay. The beach itself is well-protected from the winds and beaches in Eastern Crete are also recommended on windy days. Our favorite restaurant was Ambrosia."

"The villa had everything needed for a wonderful holiday for our party of 10 people, age range 10 years to 70 years. The location is superb, set in the hills above Elounda with the most amazing views of the town in the distance, the island of Spinalonga, the turquoise sea and the mountains. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms are spacious and plenty of lounge areas. The pool was great and so many relaxing areas outside for sunbathing and relaxing.
