Very enjoyable stay

Wasn't my first stay and won't be my last. Beautiful surroundings and buildings, great food and wine in the restaurant and for Italy, a very wide selection at breakfast.

Perfect stay!

Beautiful structure, spacious room and great evening meal. There was no airconditioning in the room but the room was relatively cool despite an outside temperature of 30 degrees.

Pleasant Agritourismo stay

An old estate with traditional balsamico factory house with local restaurant. We enjoyed a lot of our stay. The room is spacious, hotel staffs are nice and attentive. We like to come back again for a long weekend.

We had a wonderful stay here! The agroturismo style was just what we wanted. At the restaurant we had one of the best dinners we have ever had, EVER, and the view on the patio is amazing. The owner fit us in and gave us a tour of the property and we got a private tasting of the vinegar, which was like nothing I’ve ever had. I’d stay here again!

The main issue we had was the fact that the room we ended up getting (and it was the last room available because there was a wedding) was not the room I had booked. I had booked a suite with one bedroom and a living room with fireplace. Instead they gave us a two bedroom (with a second room with twin beds which we didn’t have a need for) and no living room or fireplace. I wanted to leave. But there was no other hotel available nearby and we had no choice but stay. The cleanliness was also questionable as in the room we found ants, spiders and a giant spiderweb hanging from the ceiling. I took pictures. The staff was helpful and apologized about the room being different (I didn’t bother complaining about the bugs) and offered us a bottle of white wine with our dinner, which was nice but still did not make up for the different room and bugs. We were in a rush and had to leave but I should have not been charged for the suite because that is not the room I have been given.

One night in Cavazzone

We stayed one night obviously in the very beginning of the season being the only customers. The restaurant was only open for breakfast, but within one kilometer there was a trattoria with very good food. Location is nice, the room was big and the bathroom spacy and very clean. A nice place If you like silent countryside.

Great escape from city

Well maintained farm land residence. Its cleanliness is top notch. It runs a very nice restaurant too. Breakfast is simple but environment and atmosphere there is great.

Farm stay in the hills

As a one night stopover on a drive from Assisi to Como, Cavazzone was a little slice of paradise in the country. This working farm/Inn completely exceeded our expectations. Gorgeous setting, historic significance, warm hospitality, delicious dinner and breakfast plus a tour of the balsamic vinegar facility made for a very special stay.
