Wyndham Garden Redwood Valley/Ukiah

"We have stayed here for many years-since its opening. It is the perfect stay to break up the drive to Fort Bragg. It is always clean, the staff courteous, yummy hot breakfast and the pool/hot tub one of the key features. The listing says “breakfast included.” We have always enjoyed a hot, freshly cooked breakfast perfect to get us on our way. This time the hot breakfast wasn’t there. Instead they had fruit, muffins, and a few boxes of cold cereal-and the milk was empty most of the time. Not sure if this is a new change. If so-this is disappointing since this hotel is tucked away a bit from restaurants where a hot breakfast is available. If this is the new norm-please change your amenity listing to say “continental breakfast”."

"Checked in late , 2100 hours. Once in the room, one bed looked as though it had been slept in. It was unmade with all pillows stacked on it. Trash can was full. Towels hung over shower door. Called the answering service since the office was closed. The manager’s wife talked to me. The manager came by to “verify” that the room has not been serviced. The two of them offered an upgrade to a room with 2 kings and a view of the lake. This room was clean. I also got a later check out time by 2 hours. It was a hassle though."
