"I had stayed at the Grand Aminta pre-COVID and had a great stay there. This time I brought another group of friends for a local visit, and we also had a fabulous time. The room was a nice size, and we were upgraded to a balcony terrace room. We enjoyed the views and fresh air breezes until evening. Unfortunately, cyclists like to rev their engines as they head up the winding hills so we were not able to sleep with the windows open. Breakfast was good each morning and watching the sun rise over the hills was especially relaxing. We had dinner at the hotel several nights. The bracciole was to die for -- tender, well-seasoned and in a delicious red sauce. Motto bene!!! The hotel provides a shuttle service into downtown Sorrento. It leaves every hour and returns on the half-hour, starting at 9am. We walked from the shuttle drop off to the local train to Pompeii and then another day walked to the ferry to Capri for a day. Another day, we had a small group tour of the Amalfi Coast and took an Uber from the hotel which was easy to arrange. I highly recommend the Grand Aminta for convenience, great service and comfortable accommodations!"

"Property is on a steep road, but expected at the Amalfi Coast. Free valet parking. Walking into Vico Equense can be a bit of a challenge for older visitors. All eateries in town in 20 minutes or less walking distance., so is the trainstation. The pool, wellness center and property is exceptional and well maintained. Beach can be reached by hotel shuttle or walking (would not recommend, lots and lots of steps) A special shoutout to the front desk, anyone was extremely helpful and their English is perfect. "

"Tramonto D’Oro is truly a special hotel. My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon, and we splurged and got the largest suite with a beautiful balcony, and the views were worth every penny. Between the fabulous and clean room and impeccable service (with incredibly kind and happy staff), this place has a wonderful breakfast and lovely restaurant that services a nice dinner (which was a little pricy). In addition, there’s two different bus stations that can take you right into Positano, however, they can be a bit tough to navigate and the taxis are very expensive. "
