"We had a 5 night stay. The staff (including the breakfast team and the domestic staff) at the hotel were outstanding. So very friendly and helped us to maximise our time in Rome. Always ready with a smile and genuinely wanted to know how our day had gone. The breakfasts were wonderful with both buffet and hot food (and the best coffee I've ever had) and the breakfast team were again super friendly and more than happy to change a few menu options to facilitate our tastes. The room was on floor 3 and was lovely and clean. The room was bright and modern with some lovely nods to ancient Rome in the decor. The bed was large and very comfortable and the facilities, tea/coffee, toiletries were good. The room was generally quiet but it did have a connecting room door which meant that on one night we did have some noisy neighbours that were loud and we could hear quite easily but that's down to the guests and not the hotel. There was a weird effect in our room where voices from somewhere outside came in via the air con (vent?) but was only heard in the bathroom so wasn't a problem and would not stop us using the same room again. Location wise it's just north of the train station so it's a good 30 min walk to the centre of Rome where the main city attractions are but we are quite fit and didn't mind the walk. There are some nice restaurants around the hotel which are more reasonably priced the central Rome so that was useful if you need to be a bit more budget conscious."
