Cozy Handcrafted Cabin in Downtown Victor
Summary:
Looking for a cozy and peaceful place that exudes a creative vibe? Look no further than this lovely cabin, complete with a spacious kitchen, airy living area, sprawling backyard, and a warm wood-burning stove. Situated a mere 2 blocks away from the charming downtown Victor and the town park, and only 40 minutes (26 miles) from Jackson, this home makes for an excellent starting point to explore the wonders of the region.
The Space:
Our home boasts a unique and artistic design, featuring a steel frame construction and handcrafted details. Each of the three bedrooms is cozy and comfortable, furnished with new mattresses, while the living space is open and bright. Our collection of games and a wood-burning stove provide the perfect setting for indoor activities after a long day of skiing, hiking, or rafting. Passive solar windows keep the space warm and toasty during the day, while electric heaters and a wood-burning stove keep temperatures comfortable on chilly evenings. Cooking meals in our open kitchen is a delight thanks to the commercial gas range.
Our sleeping arrangements cater to groups of 3-6 people, with a California King bed and a Tuft and Needle mattress in the primary bedroom, and queen beds in the other two bedrooms. For families with babies or toddlers, we offer a pack-n-play and high chair.
In the summer, you'll love our amazing backyard. It features a fire pit with built-in benches, perfect for cooler evenings, and produces delicious fruit from our plum and apple trees. Our beautiful garden is also a sight to behold, with a vibrant array of flowers and plants.

Loved the decor. Amazing kitchen and dining area. We opened up the big doors in the evening and built a fire in the wood burning stove. Beautiful. Probably our favorite vacation home we’ve ever stayed in.
We stayed in the cabin over New Years. We enjoyed the comfort of the fire place local restaurants. We cooked a prime rib and were comfortable on the furniture and beds. We skied at Grand Targee a day also. Great location thanks for having us.
If you are expecting a cabin this is not it although we weren't exactly sure what it is. I'm not sure when the last time anyone was in this property but it smelled very musty and the clock on the stove was blinking so it may have been a while. The walls were made from some type of adobe-like material and were very dingy. The listing indicates there is a loft available for guests but there is no access to it and the welcome book indicates it is not for guest use. The listing indicates no pets but there were clumps of some sort of hair / fur all over the couch. The pictures show a nice round table with chairs in the back garden to relax - they weren't there. This property was very dark, dingy, and gave us the creeps. The description and photos are very misleading.
