"A pure hidden gem. Tay Motel exceeded all of my expectations. The Managers Dayna and Jay were extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the fire pit and the ability to walk to a great fishing area. It was an amazing stay and I definetly will be going back. "

"This property was REALLY hyped up by reviews and so when we went, we were definitely disappointed. It wasn't some luxurious resort, it was mediocre stay with an uncomfortable bed, a dead bee in the ceiling fan, with a tiny little shower, with a cute front lawn and a place to spend a bit of time with family. It had a nice view in a nice area in a party town on the weekend but so peaceful on Monday morning. "

"The location of the motel was perfect for spending the day at the beach. It was a simple 2 min walk to the water. The motel itself was very disappointing. It is very run down and in serious need of renovations. Our “suite” had two bedrooms with bunk beds in both. The beds were not comfortable. The room had a stale beer smell and did not seem very clean. Everything was dated and dusty. The small bathroom had a new sink, which was nice, but the shower was full of mildew and did not look clean. It...

"It really was bad. I couldn’t stay there. The room smelled of smoke, the decor needed some serious updating, there was mould in the tub, slow Internet & garbage left outside. It was clearly a weekly rental for people down on their luck. I didn’t feel safe. The desk attendant was kind and understood my decision to leave."
