The second room was no better—my sister got locked inside the bathroom, and staff had to kick down the door to free her. The food options were extremely limited, tasted terrible, and made my entire family sick with food poisoning. When we raised these issues, the owner offered us extra time at the property as compensation—absolutely not, given everything we went through. This place is unsafe, unsanitary, and completely unprofessional. I would not recommend it to anyone."

"We stayed one night as it was close to the airport and we knew we’d be arriving in the dark. The hostess and her family were so lovely and welcoming. We arrived later than expected and though we had not reserved a dinner meal the hostess graciously made us some sandwiches. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again in a heart beat. This place is a gem."

"This is in an idyllic forest setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fun and tasty. There is parking outside and across the road. WiFi is great. It's the opposite of quiet but the noises are rainforest sounds and cattle, which is restful in a different way. The rooms are pretty basic and a little tired but have everything you need. It's convenient for the airport and river but there is no hiking near to the property. "
