Overall I would say our experience at this apartment was wonderful! Our hostess, Teresa, is a delightful people person. Upon our arrival, seeing that we were tired from our travel, she kindly made us espresso coffee and served it to us on a tray. All the equipment worked and we enjoyed making breakfast eggs on her gas stove. She spent the time to familiarize us with everything and said to just knock on her door, her apt just above ours, if we needed anything. The only thing you should know is that if you don't rent a car, you will need to take a taxi up from Vietri to the apt, 10 euros, and to Salerno for 25 euros if you are toting luggage, otherwise a Sita bus goes there from town. But elsewhere, we traveled by Sita bus and the delightful ferry... both unique experiences! One other note, Vietri is a small town, so it is not full of great restaurants. So, if we went to say Amalfi for the day, we would dine there, before heading back!
