The attention to detail was lovely, the rooms great I had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had in a very long time, all the staff where so friendly and welcoming it really is a perfect stay. "We were warmly welcomed by Paolo and his father who were charming and very helpful. The room was huge but rather gloomy and dark with all indirect lighting. The bathroom was large and the shower excellent. Breakfast was a simple affair but with delicious bread and home-made conserves. No cappuchinos available. "Truly a beautiful and old world look agriturismo. Felt like we were in an antique villa. Large room and excellent service. The owner is very nice and professional. But the agriturismo is great and with great ambiance if you want to stay outside Bologna and take field trips from this location. Same hotel in Tuscany would be double the price."

Hotel and rooms a little quirky in a good way - only downside is lack of air conditioning when 25C (80F) at night. Easy walk or cycle into town. Secure location to leave cars while exploring city. "Wunderschönes Haus und Zimmer, die mit viel Holz selbst gezimmerte Einrichtung ist klasse. Frühstück ok, frische Brötchen und warme Eier wären prima. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es nicht viel zu sehen. Leider sind die Strassen sehr sehr schlecht, so dass man für Ausflüge (Ferrara eigentlich nur knapp 30km weg) mehr Zeit einplanen muss. Fazit: Für einen Zwischenstopp sehr gut. "
