"I get the feeling the owners have just bought this house & are just starting to rent it out. It seems they have upgraded some parts of the apartment but others are old i.e. the kitchen doors look new, but the carcasses are very old. The lounge felt like it was missing a tv. There was a sofa for 2 facing a wall, with your back to the views of the hills, which felt odd. Personally, when I book an apartment for 4 people I expect 4 people to comfortably be able to sit in the lounge at the same...

"Nice and clean. Rustic house with a cosy jacuzzi. You have a 20 minute car ride up the mountains. It's super quiet up there, if you want some piece. 50 minute car ride to Lucca, beautiful city, not to miss out. Landlord was very nice and courteous"

"Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung und ist ausreichend mit allem ausgestattet, was für einen Aufenthalt benötigt wird. Ein Auto ist notwendig, um komfortabel die nähere Umgebung erkunden zu können. Das Haus liegt ein wenig abseits vom "Getümmel". Fußläufig erreichbar sind eine kleine Pizzeria, ein Bäcker und zwei Restaurants. Das Haus ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen für Mieter, die keinen großen Luxus erwarten"

"This is a peaceful place away from the buzzling tourist spots, but easily within reach to visit cinque terre, La Spezia, Pisa and Lucca. Its also a good spot for cycling (on race bike). The Villa seems to have a water problem in dry summers, but all problems very easily and rapidly dealt with by the agency."
