"The hotel’s location is in an out of the way, dark area at the outskirts of the city. It constitutes of a long, one-floor building with ground floor rooms only. Dingy reception area and dirty hallway. Personnel does not speak English, but tried to be helpful. Also, it’s marked as

on Hotels.com (basically the only reason why we booked a room here) and we had our

with us. When we showed up, the concierge told us that they don’t allow

anymore and the website wasn’t updated....

"This is a large chateau. The owner has been restoring the property for over 10 years but it is still work in progress. He is an excellent cook and the in house dinners are a good choice. The breakfast was good. The bedroom was large, clean and very 19th century French. Lovely polished wood floors. Large grounds around the hotel. Free parking."
