"Wow, we loved most everything about the hotel, including the “thermostat” which had electonic buttons for opening and closing the window. So nice to have fresh air at will. Was a little confused about how to use the bathtub…the tub is beautiful but water pressure a bit lacking for a nice soak in the tub. All of that said, the staff was excellent and helpful, from storing our luggage until check in and after checkout. The heated floors in the bathroom, high ceilings, mini fridge, and comfy beds with lovely bedding were a huge plus!"
"The grounds are amazing. We could see the horses from our bed. My kid loved the ladder to the upstairs. Place was pretty clean, the toilet brushes are a bit grungy, think they could swap those out but everything else was good. The views and scenery are really amazing though "
"The house was very spacious and comfortable. Our group numbered 8, and with the additional apartment space downstairs, it was just the right size for us. We prepared most of our meals there -- lunch usually consisted of sandwiches, and dinner was at "home". The kitchen was modern and well equipped, and the dining area was quite spacious. All in all, while it was pricy (everything in Iceland is!), it was a great investment for us. Thanks, Maria! "
