"We had a 3 night break to relax and enjoy the local area with our dog and this was the perfect place to stay. The location is great - it´s on a quiet local street and is just a walk away from the historic castle and any of the wonderful restaurants and small supermarkets in the town. "A really comfortable stay. Easy to park in the road outside if you are willing to keep the car within inches of walls. Well appointed, but you need to be aware that it is a back-to-back property so has no window in the bedroom area at the rear and the front window is small. "Ein großes typisches Alentejo Haus mit einer sehr guten Ausstattung und Einrichtung. Die Lage im Ortskern in einer kleinen Gasse ist schön. Restaurantbesuche und kleine Einkäufe können fussläufig erledigt werden.Leider gab es nach verlassen des Hauses eine kleine aber trotzdem unschöne Diskussionen mit dem Vermieter über die Anzahl der genutzten Handtücher. It had everything we needed for our visit to the Alentejo region including a private outdoor space for relaxing in the evening. "Very rural, difficult to find staff or office…. But once that’s accomplished the place is great. Rooms are large, good linens and bedding, pool area delightful all in a unique setting. The breakfast delivered to your room in a picnic hamper is wonderful. The restaurant wasn’t open when I was there, as a caution, bring groceries, you will have a full kitchen. "

"Don't get me wrong, the hotel amenities are really nice and breakfast is okay, but both our rooms were right on top of the cafe and while the cafe was open (until around 12am) and as soon as the employees started coming in at around 5.30am there was no sleeping. I mentioned this at the reception and they didn't seem surprised or chocked about the fact that we didn't sleep well at all. Very disappointing."

"Only stayed for one night and hotel worked well for what we needed. The light from the AC/thermostat panel is quite bright and could be disturbing to some people. It defeats the purpose of black out blinds. Otherwise the room was comfortable and the hotel is well located. The parking is convenient and easy to access."
