"Was a lovely country stay after 2 weeks of city stays. It was just the break we needed. Place has everything you need and the pool was great. Dispite being on the property with others it was very private. We were especially happy to spend time patting the two calm dogs who spend their days laying in the yard. Its a short drive to some great sites in Besalu, and Figures as well as Girona. Highly recommended."

Terry and Gloria were wonderful hosts, welcoming and warm, happy to chat but also very respectful of our privacy. The house was larger than I expected from the photos (I've found in the past that pictures can make a tiny space look far larger than it is), so we were pleasantly surprised by that. We thoroughly enjoyed & used every inch of Casa Rural. Well equipped kitchen to have breakfast every morning for 10-15 people. Jordi was top notch & quick to address with any issues. "We loved this house - it was so comfortable and the rooftop terrace is stunning. Some of us were up there every morning for yoga while the sun rose. The village is beautiful in its simplicity and we had great meals at local restaurants. Every day we went to swim and snorkel in little bays and enjoyed the warm water and abundant marine life. "Beautiful house and great common and private outside areas. I was on the fence after reading about the smell but after staying there it's clear that, while we did a couple of times smell the neighboring farm for a little bit, it's all part of the country experience. Great location, short walk to Llado's center and short drive to Besalu. I would gladly go back again and again."

"I would not recommend this property to anyone without a car. We could not find the reception area and found their limited hours unhelpful. Once we got in, the staff member was helpful and kind, but beware there is no FREE beach shuttle as listed prominently in the advertisement. I was not impressed with cleaning the apartment either."
