"The lobby is very comfortable and impressive, the view in the ocean view room was fantastic but unfortunately does not set the tone for the property.
It had been raining and there was so much water damage and leaking not only in my room but the restaurant as well. The whole hotel felt stuffy and humid. It's hard to believe that this is a new hotel, it's in shambles.
The room furniture is minimal, the layout and lighting especially in the bathroom is very awkward and insufficient. The comforter in the bed was very comfortable but all the pillows were so high my neck started to hurt.
Other reviews talked up the breakfast so much I was really looking forward to it. It was average at best. Also, we ate dinner at the hotel a few times and overall the food was mediocre.
The staff was very polite and did the best they could but overall I can't recommend this hotel to anyone. I ended leaving the property early.
Expedia was awful to deal with as they refused to give me a refund for the days I didn't stay at the hotel. Their excuse was that they couldn't reach anyone from the property, but how is that on me? They didn't even ask to see my pictures. I've used Expedia for over 20 years and I've never had an experience like this before. I'm very disappointed."
