"Their recommendation of Juan Carlos as a taxi service made the trip for us. He took us to Raquira and suggested a wonderful new terracotta park and the fossil museum. The next day he took us to the ancient observatory, Ponzo Azule, and an ostrich farm. The third day he drove us to San Gil. He was very patient waiting for us as we visited all the sites and offered explanations of the area. His rates are very resonable and cheaper and faster than taking the bus for 3 people. "Wonderful stay, great location in the center of town, walkable to anywhere in Villa de Leyva. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a lovely hot tub. The hotel had nice shared lounge space, open air halls, a beautiful rooftop where I had my meals, and a great restaurant for any meal or drink. The staff were very friendly - Fabien and Johan made sure I had everything I needed in Spanish, English, and Spanglish. Highly recommend!"
