We went to St. Elmo and visited the chipmunks, drove through the Moffat Tunnels, and had a snowball fight at the top of the Continental Divide in June. The creek by the cabin was mesmerizing. "We had a great stay. Excellent location for fishing Arkansas River and we did day trips to Monarch and San Dunes. Cabin is nicely located among some ranches/farms with good privacy and away from roads. Saw deer and elk from the cabin most days. Excellent place for a low-key reunion with friends. Great communication from owner and property management company."

The kitchen was equiped well for cooking and even some storage of leftovers. The organization there was very welcomed. "This property was located about 45 minutes from The Great Sand Dunes NP visitor center. The home was very private, clean and well provisioned. Our favorite spot was the deck off of the loft which had a wonderful view of the mountains as well as the sunrise. The wrap around deck also had a great view where you could watch the sun set. There were many extras that added to the uniqueness of the rental. We would highly recommend it."
