"We had a wonderful autumn holiday in this villa. Mahil received us very kindly and the house was fully equipped. (Towels, bed linen,, hairdryer, dishwasher tablets etc). The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds comfortable and a good shower in the bathroom. There was plenty of things to keep you entertain in the garden too. (Table tennis, pool, swing, and a lovely swimming pool. Tourist activities are close by. We enjoyed visiting the Dordogne and the beautiful caves and castles. Thank you...

"We had a wonderful time in this villa. It is set in really beautiful grounds with great facilities for all the family. The swimming pool was particularly impressive and was loved by our young grand children who did not want to leave it. The accommodation was also very good with plenty of room and comfortable beds. "The Villa is even better than the photographs and written description in all major respects . We had a problem with the WiFi dropping out on the last Wednesday of our stay . The bill had not been paid . It was not fixed by the time of our departure . Poor service . Two cupboards in the kitchen at head level are an HS&E hazard . Sharp corners . "This was an excellent property that caters for all age groups. The property was large enough to cope with 8 adults and a baby. It was a 10 minute walk out of Sarlat so easy for early morning croissants or walking back from an evening meal. We had on incident which was quickly dealt with by the owner. "Was für ein wunderschönes Haus und ein toller Garten mit Swimmingpool. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt hier. Die Gastgeberin/Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist schön, dass sie auch Niederländisch sprechen. Das Haus liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Dorf und dem Fluss entfernt. Wunderbar zum Kanufahren."

"This was a good option for a base when visiting the region. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, if a little strangely designed. A lack of sensible plug sockets (we had to boil the kettle on the floor!) and the water from the shower went everywhere because there is no shower tray - yet is not a wet room! We found parking stressful, we arrived late at night and found no spaces free thanks to inconsiderate parking from guests, the hotel would do well to mark acual spaces. We did squeeze our tiny car alongside the bins for overnight, and then after heading out early could not get a space at any other time during our stay. The night porter did help us at one point by explaining that the street parking would be ok overnight as long as we moved again by 8am. Given that we were on a three week road trip we had a very full car and this wasn't ideal. We would have liked to try the restaurant but couldn't as they seemed to stop serving earlier than advertised. We were told it was 'fully booked' at around 8pm despite lots of empty tables, we think they just didn't like that we hadn't pre booked. All in all this hotel was good enough and comfortable for a short stay and maybe better if you are less busy and have less luggage, but for us it just has a few fracture points that in all probability would not encourage us to stay again. The town is charming and we found good options for both breakfast and later dinners, just don't go out too late as the options dwindle."
