Great two night stay

Stayed here as a stop over between Vienna and Croatia, would recommend. Very cute, clean, friendly and helpful staff, great food and good bar. Big breakfast spread in the morning for no extra cost. Great location in the middle of town, everything walkable or bikeable. Only downside for us was no A/C in the room, but it was cool at night so we were able to leave the window open.

We really liked our stay here, I think it’s our favorite hotel on our journey so far. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice our room was, and the breakfast and staff are great too!

Great service. The staff is very friendly and helpful, I felt very welcome and my stay was comfortable. I liked how isolated the room was, both from noise and from the cold outside (even without having the AC on).

Nice Hotel / Great Location

Hotel Palais is in a good location - parking was a little bit of a science project to find, but not far from the hotel. I booked a single, so my room was small, but it was comfortable and everything worked to my satisfaction. The bar in the lobby was super - what I enjoyed the most.

It is located in the middle of a shopping street. Google map directed us to the back of the hotel. Friendly service. They prepared us 3 bags of breakfast at 6am as we needed to check out early. Great stopover between cities. Beatiful church and buildings. Convenience stores are just round the corner. Strongly recommended to stay here if you are in Villach.

The hotel is right at the heart of the city Villach. It has a special charm as the building is historic, but all facilities and rooms are brought up to standard and met our expectations. At 8:30am in the morning you will hear the church bell (two strikes to announce the half hour) as it is custom in many of the mid-town hotels in Austria. We thought it is nice that the church bell started at 8:30am and not earlier :-). It didn't bother us. Parking is available but might cost extra. The parking spaces are tight and getting into the hotel parking lot requires some driving skills. Another highlight is the breakfast. It was included in our room rate. It is excellent and uniquely served on a wooden structure that is placed on the table to save space. The next day we walked through the town and got a lot of souvenir shopping done. You can find everything within walking distance in the pedestrian walking zone. Another reason why we had a great time in Villach. We would definitely stay there next time again.

Wonderful one night stay. The bed and comforter for me was very cozy! Located on the main street of Villach to access shops, restaurants, and about 10 minutes to the train station.

No water in room, Parking is not a chance to find. Had to in the end find a public parking The showers didn’t let you change temperatures and was in useable The noise in the room during night was constant and unpleasant if you have hard time with noise when sleeping

Arrival to hotel and informed that they couldn't find the booking. Apparently the booking was there all along. Hot water was shut off without warning and no notification or apology. Rude and unhelpful receptionist staff. Despite your own mistake in not locating the booking that existed all along, to tell our upset customer "I'm having a bad week as well" is completely unacceptable.

La stanza era accogliente e pulita. Il letto molto comodo. Una nota strana è che non esiste un bagno tradizionale. Ma il lavandino è vicino all armadio. Poi il wc e la doccia sono separati tra loro ed indipendenti all interno della camera. Per andare a farsi la doccia si passa dalla camera alla box doccia direttamente. Camera quindi adatta ad una coppia o amici molto affiatati data questa poca privacy per andare a farsi la doccia. Le pareti del wc e quelle della.doccia sono vetrate e aperte nella parte alta che da sulla camera. Colazione buona con ottimi prodotti. Hanno un parcheggio che non abbiamo utilizzato. Nel complesso buon hotel in pieno centro pedonale.
