The host was not even aware of the reservation until we actually got to property and reached out to him since there was no way for us to get into the property. It took him a while for him to even reply to our messages. While we were there without knowing what to do we almost got a ticket from police for being stopped with the car in the surroundings. "Nous avons apprécié le contact avec l'agence à distance, le petit appartement bien situé, confortable et propre même si les ustensiles de la cuisine sont assez limités (manque de bouilloire, tire-bouchon, une grande casserole ..) ceci dit, le grand lit est confortable et il y a une chouette terrasse à l'extérieur avec une vue sur le village.Par contre, il faut tenir en compte que pour accéder à l'appartement, il faut se garer dans un parking public à l'orée du village et marcher environs 10...

"Great place to stop for a night en route. You drive your car into a garage and access the room from the garage, which is convenient and secure. Very good choice when travelling with a dog. The bathroom is spacious and modern with good facilities. The system for accessing the property is poorly thought out and doesn’t work well. You have to block the entrance barrier with your car while checking in at reception. Breakfast has a great range of food options. The property is isolated with limited amenities nearby. For dinner you need to drive 10-15 minutes to the city of Avilés. A visit to Avilés is highly recommended even if you’re only stopping over for one night."

"Well built modern hotel. We found our room to be quiet, especially for a large hotel. It was hot and the A/C worked very well. We are traveling with our dog and chose the terrace room, which was perfect. The king bed in our room was super comfy and huge! Biggest king size bed I’ve seen. The spa as great but did cost an extra 30 euro. I would stay there again. We were passing through and did not know the area. One thing to note, the area surrounding the property in every direction are huge factories with smoke massive smoke stacks. They are steal and aluminum factories. It was the weekend so they weren’t in operation but it is a definite and very noticeable part of the surrounding landscape. But again, the hotel is a thumbs up for great rest and spa."

"Wow, PAX Casona Busto! Wow, Asturias! Absolutely stunning part of Spain, and this is the place to stay. I can't thank the hotel and charming host Valentina enough for a perfect stay. The hotel is in a beautiful masion house with lots of character. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with a handy small fridge for cold drinks, and a kettle for hot drinks. The breakfast was great, and always served with a smile. Good coffee too. The hotel is in a small town, Pravia, with a couple of good supermarkets, restaurants, and easy walking disrance from the Renfe Cercanias railway station. Very handy to visit Cudillero, Gijon, Oviedo, Aviles, San Esteban, and all over Asturias, with the free Cercanias train pass. Next time I visit Asturias, this will be my home from home! Gracias!"
