Breakfast was delicious. Make sure to try Richard’s baking. Richard gave us excellent itineraries to explore. Driving on the narrow country road was a little scary but part of the adventure. Definitely a central location for exploring Provence."
"Uns hat es in der Unterkunft an nichts gefehlt. Die Besitzerin ist sehr gastfreundlich auch wenn wir anfangs etwas Hemmungen hatten sie um etwas zu bitten, da sie auch auf dem Grundstück lebt. Das war zu Beginn befremdlich!
Wir hatten von unserem Zimmer einen tollen Blick auf die Weinfelder und der Pool ist eine willkommene Erfrischung in Kombination mit der Sonnenterrasse. Das Frühstück ist klein und übersichtlich- nach 3 Tage hätten wir uns allerdings etwas Abwechslung gewünscht.

"Fantastic stay. The property is split into three: hotel, restaurant and spa. The property is modern with beautiful gardens, well heated outdoor pool and a large balcony for the room. The spa was reasonably priced and good. The mini bar in the room was not overpriced. The restaurant was also very good."

"Our family of 12 (including 3 children) great stay at this beautiful home. Excellent location within a 20 minute drive to many villages and attractions. Short walk to small town with an excellent bakery. Enjoyed exploring in the mornings and spending afternoons by the large pool and playing tennis. Host was very helpful and responsive. Catered dinners were excellent and offered great value. I would not hesitate to recommend."

"We had a lovely 2 weeks in Gordes. The house is exactly as described and the photos are accurate. The house was very clean, all inside was of a very good standard and it was well equipped. Pool and garden provide a pleasant relaxing area and the house has a private patio area. Ideal location to visit the region and only a short walk into Gordes with its good selection of cafes, restaurants and shops. A couple of nice walks from the house including the "longer" route into Gordes with a challenging uphill stretch!! Anne and Olivier are excellent hosts. They are on site and were available for advice and a friendly hello. Thank you for making us feel at home and welcome from the start."

"We had an absolutely lovely time at Valerie’s home. We stayed one week with two of our children. It was beautiful, relaxing and a lovely jaunt away from Gordes. It was our first time to Provence and it won’t be our last! It was hot, but the air-conditioning on the first floor worked well for sleeping and breeze during the day. My daughter slept on the top floor and was perfectly comfortable. Adults used to AC may find it uncomfortable. The view from the chairs by the pool in the evening makes it all worth it. Other notes: We cooked breakfast at home everyday which was quite feasible. We made a few dinners at home as well. All necessary equipment is there for cooking. The home is quite clean and well-cared for. Comments: The bed on the first floor with the AC is relatively uncomfortable for a couple. We are average to small middle-aged adults, so I would note this if you are sensitive to where you sleep. Additionally, be sure to arrive with all the things you may need for the first evening and morning. Otherwise—you cannot go wrong with Valerie’s beautiful home!!!"
