"We stayed 7 nights here for our honeymoon and had a mixed experience. The service from Martha, Ita, Francesca, Giuseppe, Michaela and every staff member was excellent—always helpful, kind, and professional. The property itself is beautiful, offering a peaceful, rustic atmosphere with stunning landscapes. However, while it’s common for upscale places to offer honeymoon perks, none were provided here. Although the hotel is adults-only, the owner’s children were at the pool one day during our stay. The owner’s dog, Bruno, is very well cared for, but sadly, Bruno’s two puppies were kept in poor, cruel conditions under the sun. As for the food, it was good but noy amazing. Lunch is €30 and lacks any protein, with the mostly the same menu offered daily. Dinner had a good menu, but the portions were extremely small. Wine pours, both at the bar and during meals, were very small, especially for the price. The pool also needed better maintenance. Overall, a beautiful place with room for improvement."

"We have been 5 days in this hotel and we loved our stay there. Our room was clean and very spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was free and delicious. We would definitely stay there again."

"This was a really fabulous week in Caltavuturo. Susanne has a created a welcoming and beautifully styled home and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. There are many hidden places around the property to relax, whether it’s by the pool, on the terrace on the long outdoor sofa or upstairs on the terrace outside the main apartment. The kitchen is really well stocked with appliances. There are two fridges so plenty of storage space. The Weber grill was perfectly clean and easy to use. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean and nice and cool with AC. We had a couple of minor problems which were swiftly resolved by the Susanne and her wonderful helpers, Leah and Vincenzo. They couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. Overall, this was a lovely holiday with our kids who are 9 & 11. It would also be really suitable for slightly older kids who would have space to roam. If I had any hesitation at all it would be the amount of driving required as the property really is quite remote, but that was also a benefit so we could have a quiet week. I am sure we will be back and thank you to Susanne again for a lovely stay."

"We were visiting family in the area and were picked up every day, so for us it was convenient. A breakfast was provided in the mornings and I enjoyed the cappuccino, and cereal. We had clean towels and water provided everyday and the air conditioning was wonderful as the temperatures were close to 100 degrees daily. Just as an fyi there is no safe in the room. "

"We had an amazing experience at Casale Margherita. Very easy to get in touch with via WhatsApp, scheduled taxi rides for us to surrounding areas for a fee. The gentlemen that drove us to a surrounding city and again to the bus station the next day was so wonderful, brought us for a traditional Sicilian coffee and cannoli nearby. The pool was incredible. Would highly recommend. "

"We had a super 2 weeks in this villa. Giuseppe is a brilliant host. From day 1 communication was helpful and prompt. All information was passed on at the relevant point. He could not have been better. The villa is really well-equipped and comfortable. The pool was a real boon when the weather was hot and was well maintained and cleaned every few days. The villa was easy to find and was well placed to access a lot of local sites. Thank you, Giuseppe for a fantastic holiday."

"good circumstances in the remote farm. But too small room to rest inside and no spaces outside to sit and relax. Dinner is not good because all meats are not fresh, seems like conserved in salt for a long time."
