"THis is an amazing place to stay. This history envelops you and the staff are so very kind. We cannot wait to go back! Just don't eat there. Find something else. The menu is not the same as the paper one they show you to order from. The chef just makes up their own dish and serves it to you without asking if it is okay."

On the Pecos River in Pecos New Mexico

On the Pecos River in Pecos New Mexico

10/10 Excellent
"Tom was such a great host, and his house is a great property! He was a responsive, even past the point I became a bit of a pest. Pecos is a quiet gem with easy access to Santa Fe and the fishing spots up and down Highway 63. It was a real fun and peaceful retreat all at the same time! The house has a well equipped kitchen, great water pressure in the showers, and laundry facilities that are first right. Great views across a grassy expansive lawn to the deck and river, with sheer cliffs over the tableau. Two items that renters might want to be aware of, a vehicle with greater than a 6-inch clearance is best, given there surface of the driveway. Driving slowly let us avoid bottoming out. Also, as a warning sign in the driveway indicates, it's a pretty steep walk down to the waterfront, especially for somebody mobility impaired. But, it's an easy and worthwhile drive down that same hill for those who might be using a cane. Thanks, Tom!"

"We absolutely loved staying at the Pecos River Cliff house! One of our favorite features was sleeping with the screens open at night! My husband called it fancy glamping! It was amazing. The house has everything needed. The river was fun to explore. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. Would love to stay again!"
