- The closest beach access is just a short walk down Forest Road.
- The beach is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your pup! Just remember, dogs must stay on a leash at all times. **From Memorial Day to Labor Day, dogs are not allowed on the beach between 11am and 4pm.**
- A few blocks south of Riptide, you’ll find the Townbank/North Cape May promenade. This paved, wheelchair-accessible path stretches for two miles and leads directly to the beach.
- For nature lovers, Cox Hall Creek Wildlife Management Area is just off Delview Rd. This 250+ acre preserve is perfect for bird watching, with beautiful highlands, marshes, and lakes, plus paved trails to explore.
- Harpoon's on the Bay Restaurant (seasonal) is just 1 mile south on Beach Drive for a delicious bite with a view.
- For another great dining experience, head 3 miles south to Stowaway's Dockside Restaurant (seasonal) at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal.
