The beach Is not a few steps away. There are a lot of stairs, not good for families and elders. The beach is 400m away, behind 2 rows of houses, and it is totally covered with seaweed, but it is shallow and partly sandy. There is hardly mobile service in the area and WIFI in the apartment does not work most of the time. You definitely need a car. There is no restaurant in walking distance. When we were there, there was construction work in the apartment above. It was so loud, we could hardly talk to each other. The property management Estay said they did not know, at least they convinced them to stop working with the demolition hammer. They did not want to move us to a different apartment. They promised 2x to send a technician to repair or replace the WIFI router. Nobody showed up. Although they charge a 3-digit sum for cleaning, they expect you to bring the waste to the recycling center in Villasimius. You risk the deposit if you don't comply.
I was 5x in south Sardegna, but this was by far the worst experience and it was much to expensive, also without the construction and WIFI issue. The furnishing is ok. The beds have iron frames. The couch has holes in the cushion. Also, I must say Expedia is just collecting money, but don't care at all. They send automated emails in the host's name. It was the first and last time I book with them. You can reach them by phone, but talk to a robot. It will take you 7min to get a human on the phone.
