"As soon as we arrived we were disappointed. The door was locked and we had to wait with our luggage all day until 4 pm. No one in site. The room was good. We rented a car and had to park it outside up the road leading in to St Emilion. Breakfast basic . The owner said we could only come to eat at 9 am ... We overstayed our time in St Emillion...5 nights. I would recommend no more than 2.."

"The owner of the property and chateau is accessible and led the wine tour we took. He was very knowledgeable. This was the only place we were able to taste wine directly from the barrel. The chateau is far enough away that guests should plan to eat there. The food is excellent. We also used the pool at the end of the day. It is well maintained."
