"This is a beautiful house with 5 bedrooms and 2 kitchens it can obviously be divided into 2 smaller houses but our two families had the entire house. The kitchens are extremely well equipped and we liked that there were some things in the cupboard like coffee and salt and herbs along with dishwasher tablets and hand soap. "This was an excellent property that caters for all age groups. The property was large enough to cope with 8 adults and a baby. It was a 10 minute walk out of Sarlat so easy for early morning croissants or walking back from an evening meal. We had on incident which was quickly dealt with by the owner. Would highly recommend the property and our family had a lovely stay. It was a shame that it rained every day and we didn't get a chance to have family table tennis match. The house has plenty of...

"I personally don't like having to carry 25 kg of linen on my back across 400 m, and then spend one hour putting the linen on the beds, coming back to the reception because they did not give us the right set, puzzling over which linen goes where, etc. Sure they provide caddies, but they seem to always be taken or in a state of disrepair. I have seen this type of campground-like hotel approach in other places in France, but never in any of my travels any other place in the world. I would prefer to know in advance that this is a campground mindset so as to avoid it. To me, it's like if someone invites me for dinner and asks me to clean the toilet while they cook."
