"Quaint family run establishment in this lovely quiet area of France. Rooms are cozy and comfortable and the husband and wife owners make you feel part of the family. An evening plat du jour meal is available and is always excellent and the local wine is a must. Lots of wonderful walking is on your doorstep as well as around nearby Rouquebrun and the coast is not far away either. Also a perfect stopover on your way to/from the Spanish resorts."

"The hotel staff were nice but very inexperienced. They have NOT been given good systems and instructions to work with. They lost our dinner reservation at the on site restaurant after confirming it the SAME day. The waiter at the restaurant was very rude and dismissive. VERY LAME considering its really not such a high end place. They should not pretend like they are a fancy restaurant in Paris (actually I've never had a problem like this in Paris). "Located in the centre of the old village of Autignac, the La Coquillade - Gite is a quaint group of accommodations around a courtyard with central swimming / plunge pool. Parking was on street but safe and our apartment was accessed through a small door off the street and through a covered passageway that we referred to as "the cave". This was a cool spot where you could sit to avoid the extreme summer heat. Although described as a two bedroom apartment, the second "room" was only separated...

"Chambre agréable mais manque d'entretien. Une cafetière à disposition, mais pas de café, ni de thé...Une lampe de chevet aurait été utile. Ainsi qu'un essuie main au lavabo ...le porte savon est sale. Les draps ont semble-t-il déjà servis... Je n'ai pas eu le choix que de dormir dedans... Un petit effort serait nécessaire. "
