"Gîte très agréable, lumineux et très spacieux. Le jardin permet de partager les repas à l'air libre si le beau temps est de la partie. L'endroit est très calme et le village Les Ricey l'est également. Nous avons eu l'occasion de faire quelques sorties VTT, chemins pas très techniques mais attention il y a du dénivelé, le coin est vallonné. "Very reasonably priced and comfortable place to stay. Only a few steps away from Fosse Dionne and convenient to town and the train station. From this home base, we visited Dijon by train and Auxerre and Chablis by taxi. The place has everything you need. Two bedrooms are up a narrow flight of stairs which may pose difficulties for elderly people and the toilet is located on the first floor only. Very nicely decorated. "

Chambre d’hôtes le Prieuré de Fouchères

8/10 Good

"A Charming French Farmhouse with Potential Set in a beautiful, peaceful, village, this working farm has all the makings of a French dream. The accommodation seemed more of a homestay than a hotel. Our bedroom was clean, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. The communal breakfast was a highlight, with tea and coffee, a choice of cereals, homemade mini pancakes, fresh bread and delicious homemade jams. Despite this, we felt that our accommodation felt dated rather than quaint. The bathroom would benefit from refreshing/updating and the mismatched old style bedding on the two double beds felt tired and overlooked. More attention to detail would make a real difference and make this nice property really wonderful. One thing to note, they do not take card payments. The property has wonderful character and enormous potential. With some sympathetic updating while retaining its rustic charm, it could be a truly special place to stay. Overall, an enjoyable homestay with a warm welcome, a lovely setting and plenty of room for improvement."

Logis Hôtel-Restaurant Domaine de Montecristo et Gîte l'Évasion Dantès

10/10 Excellent

"It was relaxing to have a very big bed after a long day of travelling. The shower was easy to access & easy to use after we had worked out what to do with the shower gel, you squeeze it. Couldn't comment on meals, we didn't partake of any."

Hotel de Charme By Arts & Millésimes

8/10 Good

"The hotel stands on the hillside in a beautiful spot. It looks over the village and countryside. The room is a good side with views over the pool and was adequate for a one night stop. There was a lot of work going on around the pool, banging, sawing and music playing. The pool itself could do with a little work around the edges to improve the finishes as there were cracks and holes. Not many staff around but tt was pleasant. Breakfast was adequate and self service. Short walk to the village were there wwere a few places to eat. The house of Renoir was a lovely place to visist."

Château in Champagne, luxurious, very affordable, private for 1 Family /group

10/10 Excellent

"Great place with 7 rooms, some are of course nicer set up than others. The pool is lovely and heated. Some downsides like very limited towels and the hosts could be a little more relaxed about their attitude towards vacationers using the house and the tours. They no longer do chef at the house, but the dinner we got delivered was very nice and lots of food. Very close to lots of cute little champagne houses. They could also probably rehabilitate some of the rooms like the dining room to their former glory because right now it's not very pretty."
