The hosts were amazing and really give you free rein to enjoy the beautiful grounds—the location is unbelievable, yet it’s only about a 15-minute walk into the center of Bayeux. "The Churchill Hotel was perfectly located with paid parking just outside its doors. The staff was welcoming and helpful and just outside its doors were bars, restaurants and shopping. Our room was spacious and comfotable with AC. Breakfast featured many choices. Our Omaha Band of Brothers tour picked up from the adjacent parking lot and the hotel offered tours to Mont St Michael as well. The Cathedral is beautiful and we were sad to miss the music/light show."

Historic building on a quiet street with ample street parking (to avoid paying fee to park in hotel lot) Room was large with high ceilings and great storage, Decor and furnishings felt a bit dated. Kids' twin sofa beds were not comfortable. Master bedroom was large and comfortable. Check-in experience was great -- very attentive and helpful staff -- took the time to explain everything and to show us our room. I would recommend staying here as a good option to consider in Bayeux, but might consider two rooms next time vs the larger family suite, as our kids are old enough to have own space (and second bathroom0."

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The photos do not do the hotel justice. The staff were very friendly, we slept in so we couldn't experience the breakfast but the room restaurant looked inviting. The air-conditioning worked very well for the August weather. A very comfortable stay!"

"Breakfast is included, so all good there. I was on the top floor when the outside temps were in the low 30s. The room was adequate for me but would have been much better with aircon.
