Centrally located, cute place with personality. Rooms are ample and comfortable, good bedding and clean. Aisle the manager went above and beyond offering some extras and also help me to recover my hat as i missed at checkout. You will enjoy staying here.

The property was convenient to walk to areas of interest but there was no microwave which I have had in other B and B’s and walls were very thin. The staff was very nice however. We realize that the staff has no control over the walls.

Lovely building, great location. The suite I did not stay in seems particularly nice. Quiet with great breakfast albeit at a restaurant down the street.

i had written a -ve rating but changed eventually. firstly, it is very difficult to find. It is located through a sushi restaurant and if you like me come after six there’s nobody there. Fortunately, I had an active sim card which helped me with calling. The toilet smell foul as I entered. I wrote to the owner who had a dry humor. But later when we chatted it was alright. She offered to change. The breakfast was simple with bread and boiled eggs, salad, muesli etc. It was delicious. Location is top notch and right at the center in old town. I will stay another time. The owner is also a nice person. 😍

Good for shorter stay

It is very basic but room was clean and there was comfy bed. There is no TV in the room. Location is great, close to the city center. Inside of the hotel is nice, even though building looks little bit threadbare from outside. Check in was OK, only thing is, that at time of my booking, there was information on hotels.com, that reception is open from 8AM until 8PM, however I was informed before my arrival, that they are meeting guest on apointment and reception is not always open during that time. There wasn´t any problem with it, but I think it would be fair inform guests about that before they choose to make reservation, as some people may prefere to be in the hotel with open reception during daytime. The other thing is, that there is only one small baf of shampoo&shower gel per person, so if you have longer hair I would definitely recomend you to bring your own shampoo.

Enligt beskrivning skulle det vara städning varje dag och luxuiösa badrumsartiklar på toaletten. Städnkng bestod i att de bäddade sängen 1 av 3 dagar. Tog bort en handduk en dag men vi fick ingen ny. Bafrumsartiklarna var 2 engångsförpackningar med schampoo och det var allt. Boendet i sig var okej, men gå inte ut med att ni städar varje dag om ni inte gör det. Likaså badrumsartiklarna, skriv inte att det finns när det inte gör det, det blir bara irriterande. Toalettdörren bestod av ett drapperi i manchestertyg. Testade inte frukosten så den kan jag inte uttala mig om.

The Book concept is appealing and quirky, the staff are relaxed and welcoming and they maintain a very high standard of cleanliness. There are small touches such as China cup and saucer with fruit tea bags and kettle in the rooms The hotel is in a great situation close to all places of interest, restaurants, cafes and shopping facilities.

Unbeatable location, spacious minimalistic room

Love this small former monastery rooms, location is unbeatable, check in is always very quick. And rooms are very spacious and rather minimalistic. Only problem is when it is too hot or too cold as being an old. Monastery, oh well that is what it is. But on a lovely autumn days it was a lovely stay

Peaceful, clean, all you need for your stay

Peaceful, clean, all you need in the heart of old city. Meal even few but of high quality and enough for breakfast. The only minus is parking as you need to leave your car either in the street or the parking square which is of the price 41 euros per day. We did not know that hotel has one place there so the tip - ask always if that one is available (not taken by the other guest).
