"The hostel was in a very old building. The kitchen was very nice with everything we needed. Our room, with two bunk beds was very small and rustic. The mattress and pillow were very worn. I think these rooms have had a lot of use and it shows. No light in the hallway. Many things needed attention, but it seemed like this operation has other priorities with its campground, cottages, and restaurant. The restaurant did offer a very good meal at a good price. "The staff did not care to assist me in any way. My sofa bed was not made up. They asked me to open it myself, telling me the linens, pillows and the towels are all already inside. When I asked if the sheets and everything was new or has been sitting around inside the bed for a while , the answer I was given was “ I think so, I don’t know”. I asked if housekeeping can come to take care of this and was told they don’t do that. I wouldn’t trust the cleanliness of these sheets or pillows. When the sofa bed was opened, everything was so wrinkled and looked very unkempt. Not a pleasant look or a comfortable sleep sensation. Poorly done. "
