We had to allow extra time as all the traffic was rerouted away from the main throughfare, had to take a golf cart then drag our luggage across the race route to get to the taxi. The hotel is looking its age, needs a revamp to get rid of old battered fruniture and replace carpets Yhe indoor pool...

"This is an excellent location of the city in a very beautiful city. Our room had an excellent terrace with a view. It is a shared terrace with the next room, but it was private since nobody was occupying the other room. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant downstairs were very friendly. The complimentary breakfast is sumptuous. The beds are very comfortable and entire facility is very clean and well maintained. "Do not prepay this hotel, I prepaid through Expedia and when I got there they claimed I was supposed to pay directly at the hotel, and had no records that I had already paid. I was allowed to check in without paying again, but they still took my credit card for additional expenses (in case I use the minibar or restaurant) 5 days later they still have not reversed the pre authorization in my credit card for $100 Usd. Hotel is clean but events downstairs create a noisy environment"
