Did not realize that no staff and was self service. Needed cell phone service to communicate with the staff. We had only a data plan.

This was a positive surprise! I guess many probably try to find accommodation along E134, but a detour to Vikedal for this hotel can certainly be worth it. I have stayed at several hotels during corona-times, but the breakfast here certainly was the best so far. The exterior of the hotel might seem second class, but the room we had and the nice river view was great. Absolutely recommended!

Det var gullende rent, deilig seng og sengetøy. God husmannskost, veldig grei betjening. Nytt og fint.
