"Automated check-in system, which can be a bit impersonal for guests used to more traditional systems. However, the staff were great and very keen to help. For the price paid, I felt a little short-changed. The bedroom and bathroom really need an update although the bed was comfortable and I slept well. The evening meal buffet was basic but tasty and quite good value for around £23. Breakfast was also basic but adequate and included in the price. Internet speed was great. The location was quiet and in the countryside and suited my purposes well. The big plus was the staff! "

"We liked our stay overall. We did receive 2 phone calls and an email asking us to cancel our stay because they were full. We didn’t see the email because our phone service doesn’t work well in foreign countries. So we showed up for our reservation and we were the only 3 people staying at the place. We were very confused about that. The place otherwise is very nice and could be a great venue for events too. I hope they do well. The owner was very welcoming and gave us some tips on where to eat and what to see.Wishing them the best! "

"Excellent location close to the wonderful Viking Ship outdoor museum, and a pleasant half hour walk through the park into town centre. Room was spacious, with two of us in a room for 6, with the facilities being clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good, especially for cereal and healthy food lovers, and the kitchen amenities were useful"
