Cozy, Dog-friendly Duplex At The North End Short Walk To The Beach!

Stay at this cozy North End duplex and enjoy a short 300 ft walk to the beach at 84th street. It is on the ocean side of Atlantic Ave so no need to cross a busy street. Spend your Summer vacation days basking in the sun, splashing in the ocean, or watching the dolphins frolic. It is ideal for a group of friends, couples, or small families. Also perfect for an off season getaway, military transition, or temporary corporate housing. We welcome your dogs! This one story duplex style home has lots of character and is adorably decorated with beach and mermaid themed artwork throughout. Lots of modern amenities like WIFI! You will have reserved driveway parking for two cars.

Living room has comfortable leather sofa and loveseat. 42 inch flat screen HDTV with expanded cable package. DVD/Blu-Ray player with large selection of movies available for your use.

Kitchen has stainless steel appliances to include refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, and dishwasher. Also has full size front loader washer and dryer. Lots of other amenities like Keurig single cup coffee brewer, Mr. Coffee coffee maker, blender, toaster, dishes, silverware, barware, pots and pans, etc. Kitchen table seats 4.

Bathroom has slate tiled walk in shower and glass bowl sink/vanity.

First bedroom has queen bed with brand new linens for 2018 season. Second bedroom has twin beds with brand new linens and mattresses for 2018 season. Also has TV with DVD/Blu-Ray player. Total bedding accommodates 4 people, but up to 6 are welcome if you would like to bring a portable crib, air mattress, or use the sofa/loveseat.

Fenced in backyard with patio furniture set that seats up to 6 people. Brand new umbrella and seat cushions for 2018 season. There are also two adirondack chairs and a gas grill in the patio area. One of the best features of this quaint getaway is the custom built totally private hot/cold water outdoor shower. You'll want to use for all of your showers!

Did we mention we welcome your dogs? We don't want to leave ours when we travel either so we even provide a bed and a fully stocked treat jar for your four legged friend!

The home is in the quiet and relaxing North End section of the Virginia Beach resort area, with access to the beach a very short walk away. If you're looking for more action the Boardwalk Resort area is a little over 3 miles away with great restaurants and family friendly activities. The Virginia Beach Convention Center is about 6 miles away.

In addition to the beach, be sure to check out the hiking/biking trails at nearby First Landing State Park, local golf courses, shopping and great music venues. Colonial Williamsburg, Prime Outlets, and Busch Gardens/Water Country USA Theme Parks are just an hour away.

Great property, great location and great host. The property was well maintained and well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the seating area outside. The location is dog friendly. We were given a welcome gift with snacks, laundry detergent, paper plates and a toy for our dog. We loved how the property was a short walk away to the beach. The location is away from the tourists area but yet close enough to visit. We absolutely loved it!

Va Beach Cottage

This is the perfect rental- ocean block to take the dogs to the beach with us and very close drive to the boardwalk and shops. The home has everything and more that you could need. We have rented Angie’s cottage multiple times and intend to continue doing so. She is an excellent host!

Perfect beach cottage

This is a dog-friendly beach cottage that you cannot tell is dog friendly because it’s immaculately clean and well maintained. It has everything you need to make it a comfortable stay and Angie is a fantastic host. We will definitely be back. It was the perfect location for visiting my family.

Great location - just a short walk to a quiet beach. Cozy place with fenced yard for my two dogs. Nice kitchen. Frig had filter water and ice maker. Comfortable bed, good wi fi, lots of nice touches like beach towels and a snack pack, plus beach cart.I like this location near First Landing State Park since I can go to either Boardwalk or Lyndhaven and Chics Beach for restaurants and coffee houses. Can’t wait to come back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If Doug could, he'd take the shower home with him (excellent shower pressure). The kitchen as others have noted was well stocked (and thank you for the basket of goodies!). We cooked in/used the gas grill several nights and did not lack for cookware. The glass selection is excellent (fun large margarita glasses, tall ice tea glasses, mugs, etc.). We had a couple of beastly hot days and the AC was able to handle it. The location is great, away from the busy areas and easy walk to the 84th street entrance. We biked to free concerts at 17th and 31st street venues (there are bike paths/lanes most of the way).

Great stay-Quick walk to beach!

This is an adorable house that has a soothing color scheme and is clean and comfortable. The weather for our short spring break escape was very cold and windy but our dog would still rate the experience as 5 stars! She loved her beach experience and appreciated the dog toy left in the welcome basket, too. We would highly recommend this rental.
