No. This is the like... fifth time we've gone through this exercise. I am not writing an actual review. Stop asking me to. Just let me rate it 5-stars. It was a wonderful hotel experience, but I have no desire to explain in detail what the issue is. At this point, I'm more annoyed about getting these emails from you all when you manually review the review and decide it doesn't fit your standards.

Great property!. Parking is an issue if traveling with more than one car. The view of the beach was lovely. The location is good, shops are near.

It was a very nice place great view of the ocean. It did surprise me that the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall and we couldn't hang our toilet paper in it. It just was not something you should see in a place that nice. Also the maid service every other day was puzzling I don't remember being told that or asked if we needed towels on the day she wasn't coming? That was a little unexpected. Great stay, exactly what you expect from Hampton Inn. Room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Huge refrigerator and beautiful oceanfront view with balcony.

I highly recommend booking through Expedia and not through the front desk! I wanted to extend another day and they lied to me multiple times about the prices at the front desk. Wish I just would’ve rebooked through Expedia. Lesson learned though!

Hotel was super cute and trendy! Staff was great getting the room cleaned was a bit challenging and a bigger pool area would have been great bc there were I think max 12-14 lounge chairs for the entire property but the beach was nice.

Love this hotel! The rooms are so nice and upgraded. Everything is so clean and the staff was constantly cleaning the floors everywhere. Breakfast was very good. We were close to the pier and ate dinner at the restaurant on the pier Ocean Eddies seafood restaurant was walkable and very delicious. The hotel has a nice parking deck connected to the hotel and we just kept our car there and walked to restaurants and shops.

We started out with our room smelling like garlic but the front desk took care of it and our stay was great. Older property but room was great and the bed was comfortable. Will definitely consider this hotel next time we stay in Virginia Beach.

This is our second year here. Convenient access to beach and boardwalk. Safe area. Many people in the area, but everyone is doing their own thing and respectful. Hopefully I can return next year.

Stayed in December and half the places were closed.It was a nice view being on the beach and we were right at the end of the Christmas Lights viewing. Nice hotel, indoor pool and hot tub, and above average breakfast. Definitely worth it

Everything was great!

Clean room very friendly staff. Loved that it was right on the beach. The restaurant, Mahi's, was delicious. It is in a great location on the boardwalk. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Only downside was $15 a day to park. Will definitely stay there anytime we come back to Virginia Beach

The location is excellent, the staff was wearing masks, the room was clean but I disinfected some more and I was planning to anyway. One thing bothered me: in the middle of the pandemic, with the mask mandatory, and the big printed requirement on the door, some guests were in the elevator without a mask....Nobody to reinforce it and no common sense...Not sure who to blame either: the hotel wants all guests, I guess, so rules are only on paper??....We were lucky, tried to wait for next elevator...

Room was very clean and modern. Finally a beachfront hotel smart enough to not put carpet in the rooms! Restaurant (Clayton’s) had pretty good food. Nice pool. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again!
