    The Space:

    Welcome! Located on Sandpiper Road, just steps away from the public access path to the beach, Anchor Down greets you with its trendy tranquility. The first-floor entry allows for easy access to the well-equipped kitchen, living space, and bedrooms. With an option of two pullout beds for fourteen people with five and a half bathrooms, Anchor Down provides space and fun for families, small or large parties. Multiple TVs with port accessibility for your own gaming and two large smart TVs (one located in the living space and one in the pool room) provide indoor entertainment. The outdoor in-ground pool, lounge area, grill, patio set, and bar are the perfect set up for catching some rays with outdoor entertainment options. The fully equipped pool house offers a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, full bathroom, and couch, making this a convenient spot for quick snacks and a nice place to hang out. Anchor Down is a short walk from the Sandbridge Market, offering everything you need from fresh fruit, premade foods, hand-cut steaks, steamed shrimp, incredible house-made doughnuts, toiletries, wine, and beer. You are also close to the Sandbridge Shoppes, a great option for Sandbridge apparel, beach accessories, ice cream, and a restaurant offering steam pots and lobster rolls! Not only does Anchor Down’s interior make for a bright and cheery stay, but its unique look-out room also offers beach views and a quiet place to unwind, so anchor down and enjoy the best of Sandbridge Beach while feeling right at home. Please be aware that this home is not Pet-friendly due to the owner's severe allergies. THINGS TO KNOW The pool cabana is winterized (and not operational) from the beginning of November through the end of March of each year. The pool will be open from late April through early/mid-October.

We stayed at Anchor Down for 3 nights and had a very relaxing experience. Everyone commented about how beautiful the home is and how comfortable and welcome we felt there. We especially enjoyed going to the third floor and looking at the ocean. It was very peaceful. We absolutely intend to stay here again.

Amazing beach birthday celebration!!

Anchor Down is the most well equipped beach home I have stayed in! The house was clean and well planned, beds comfortable, pool was amazing and the Cabana was such a nice space to hang out. I hope to rent it again as early as next year. Thank you for the beautiful memories my family made staying in your lovely home!

Loved our stay in Sandbridge. House was perfectly set up for two families with double master suites upstairs and a wing with three bedrooms for kids downstairs. Our families loved the pool and the teens had fun taking over the pool house. Extra beverage fridge was so helpful. One of the best properties we have rented.

Moms 89th bday

Celebrated my mom’s 89th birthday with her 5 adult children and their spouses. The house was great. Very spacious and clean. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for a large group. Man cave was wonderful. You could have a person comfortably stay in the man cave. House was great.

Family Vacation

This property is amazing! Everything one could possibly need is provided. We cooked several meals for the whole family without any problems. There is so much room to spread out or be all together. My most favorite spot was the room at the very top of the house, which we dubbed the “book nook” Management is excellent about answering any questions. Our time at Anchor Down went way to fast.

Beautiful home. Loved the location. Kitchen was stocked with quality items and had everything you needed. The layout worked perfectly for all family members. Had places to gather and visit with family members and play games as well as places to for quiet time. Love the outside balconies on the 2nd floor. Laundry room was a great size. Beach access was close and it was great having beach carts. Pool area was spacious and chairs plentiful. Great table for playing games by the pool while the kids swam. Loved the game room area. Very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Family Beach Vacation

When looking for a place to stay for our family vacation we selected this home due to the amenities it offered and the size for our 7 family members. Everything was perfect when we arrived and very clean, we were not disappointed. Check in was very easy as well as check out with very little to do compared to other places we have rented. Very comfortable home with everything we needed. The walk to the beach was very easy and with the placement of the home we were not crowded at the beach. The management staff for the home were great and contacted us soon after we arrived to make sure everything was up to expectations and if they could do anything for us in any way. I would highly recommend a stay here and would stay again if the opportunity was available. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!

Mother's 82 birthday

The older grandkids wanted to surprise their grandmother for a gathering. They choose Virginia Beach I her daughter picked this beautiful home. It was as pictured, clean quite and well stocked if we decided to cook. We door dashed and ate out at Outback for her big dinner Everything is within 5 miles radius. Spacious were no one was on top of each other. The crows nest I missed when looking at the layout was a added space. We will rent this home again

Anchor Down Delight

This house was beautiful! We all commented how this would be our dream home and how the location was perfect. The rooms were comfortable, 3 rooms had their own bathrooms while a 4th and 5th bedroom shared one. The living area was open and that was great for our family. The laundry room had all the amenities we needed washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. The kitchen was fully equipped and it had two refrigerators which was good for storing extra food/drink. The house was a walk-in which was great since we had a lot of elderly guests which we gave the downstairs bedrooms so they wouldn't have to climb the stairs. The pool was a nice size and the pool house was a great addition as it included a tv area, foosball table and a full bath. There was an outdoor shower to get the sand out when coming from the beach. The house was within walking distance of the beach and a small supermarket who had the best donuts. The house was super clean and if I had any questions the owners were quick to respond. We would definitely stay at this home again.
