Onera Fredericksburg

"We were not sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised that most of the units were spread out over acreage with a fair amount of spacing between them. This gives the impression that you're staying in the wilderness. The property between units is mostly kept wild; we even saw a couple of deer when we went out for an early morning walk! The hot tubs come on automatically, so you don't have to think much ahead if you want to use them. The bungalow where we stayed was very well equipped and had a very comfortable bed; its surroundings were pleasantly rustic. My only complaint has to do with my stupidly leaving behind a small clothing item. The Onera staff was very helpful in retrieving it; however, they use an outside service that charges exorbitant rates to return your stuff. Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful experience and are considering a return trip."

"We spent two nights and thoroughly enjoyed The Albert. The room, bar and pool were all new and modern feeling. Walk through the courtyard to the front that faces Main Street for a great coffee shop that keeps the old school charm of Fredericksburg. The hotel is centrally located making everything in downtown walkable. Ten minute drive to most wineries. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again for sure."

"This was an amazing property. The copper tub was wonderful to relax in paired with a glass of wine. The hottub was also another favorite, enjoyed the sound or nature around you. The cats where a nice add when being outside. Me and my husband enjoys our honeymoon stay."

"We had a fabulous time at the Cactus cabin! Communication was amazing, which was good because we were there during the big flash floods We had open communication and great information on how high the cabin was. Unfortunately HWY 16 shut down during our stay. Since we could not travel on the highway, we had lots of time at the cabin. The hot tub was nice and the cats kept us company on the porch. I would recommend staying in this quaint little cabin."
