Gabriella kept in constant touch to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction and provided lots of advice regarding restaurants, wine tastings, and local festivals. "The hotel is magical, part of a working vineyard. It has a Michelin restaurant. Reservations a must. The wine tours with the affiliated Barolo producers were excellent. One downside is its isolation. Difficult to reach especially at night. If you're driving it's not for the faint hearted. Sometimes the GPS would lose the signal but otherwise, a gorgeous place. The special 5 course dinner was spectacular in its volume, the many comped dishes, the creativity, etc"

There were a few small things that could be improved—the fridge in our room never worked, for example, but we didn’t need it. I’d happily return in the future."

"The property is "humble" but in a very good location and the property manager was responsive. The unit is spacious but could use a comfortable chair or small sofa to relax on. The only chairs were straight back kitchen chairs."
