"What a delightful small hotel! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The location is beautiful, and the hotel itself is a rather luxurious boutique property with a Michelin-starred restaurant on-site. It’s perfect for hikers and for those seeking peace and relaxation. Just keep in mind — this isn’t a beach resort: no palm trees, no sandy shores, and probably not the best spot if you're hoping to tan all day."

"Beautiful Setting w/ Gorgeous Views. Interior modestly furnished but adequate. Difficult to find house. Advertised Grill and Washer But filthy and rusted & located in dusty, cobwebbed filled basement w/ dirt floor w/ exterior entrance w/access down steps overgrown w/ weeds and extremely dangerous. Host refused to meet us at house to answer questions"because he had childcare obligations". "

"The property is delightful. It’s very olde world charm. However there are no parking facilities and clients have to be transported from public car parks around the town. This was not made clear or we would not have booked. Taking a car to the hotel is impossible and you only find this out when following the sat nav and getting stuck in a narrow street. I requested some milk from one of the receptionist for our tea in the room and was very disappointed in her haughty response. She would give me some hot milk as a favour but if I wanted cold I would have to pay for it!!! Otherwise she could direct me to a bus stop and I could go into town. There are no grocery shops in the vicinity. Definite attitude problem. Breakfast was fine except for the mushroom omelette which was grey and watery. Very unappetising. Atmosphere in the breakfast room was also intimidating. I was so looking forward to this hotel and of the ones we staying in during our trip, it was overall the one I would be the least likely to book again and certainly would not recommend. "
