Strong smell of vanilla when we arrived but it did not seem to be covering anything in particular. We arrived late in the evening but the instructions were otherwise complete. Everything was lovely and the location very central in Cassel, which is a nice small town we'd stayed in many times before. The cottage decoration and furniture is very French in style.
