Inside, the home features a bright open-concept layout with modern coastal-inspired décor, fresh flooring, and inviting spaces designed for easy relaxation after a day of hiking, sightseeing, or scenic drives. The living room includes a comfortable sofa, queen-size futon for additional sleeping space, electric fireplace, board games, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a 50” Smart TV for streaming your favorite shows. Large windows bring in natural light and peaceful views of the surrounding trees, creating a calm retreat that feels connected to the rainforest outside.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for convenient meals at home, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, hot water kettle, rice maker, cookware, dishes, and dining essentials. Enjoy breakfast before heading into the park, pack snacks for a day on the trails, or gather for a casual dinner after exploring the island.

Both bedrooms are comfortably furnished with fresh linens, cozy bedding, room-darkening shades, clothing storage, and Smart TVs. The primary bedroom features a king memory foam bed and lovely views toward Mauna Kea, while the second bedroom includes a queen bed and a dedicated workspace—ideal for remote work or extended stays. A shared full bathroom includes a bathtub, shower, hot water, body soap, towels, and essentials.

Please note that this is a second-level unit and stairs are required for access. The home is also on a rainwater catchment system, so guests are kindly asked to conserve water during their stay.

Utilize caution when walking outside as Volcano is so moist that beautiful moss loves to grow here, regardless of trying to rid of it. It is slippery!

Please be aware that a tenant occupies the separate downstairs space. Please respect our neighbors and observe quiet hours in the evening. The grounds and home will feel very private for guest stays.
