This is a very old hotel that is a real pleasure to stay at in every way and the kitchen continues to exceed hopes and expectations for all meals. I have stayed there off and on for almost 50 years.

Very quiet in a little villsge. Breakfast buffet was really nice. Bed was very comfortable, but was two twins pushed together and made up separately. Less than ideal for an intimate couple. The Host was very accommodating and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay. If we come back we will stsy there again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great variety of options. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. After I checked out, I realized I had left the ear pieces of my AirPods behind. I contacted the hotel, and to my relief, they quickly located them. Very nice hotel with amazing food! We stayed one night on our way to Sweden and can really recommend! Charging station on property too.

After going rounds and rounds to the hotel from the highway I did not expect that much lovely place to see. Situated in the heart of the city the amenities brought to a surprise to find that much nice place to stay. I just loved it!

The hotel staff were great. They spoke both German and English which was good for me since I hadn't spoken German in over 25 years. The hotel is located right on the Main River and close to all that the old town has to over. The room was clean and the building well maintained. They have a parking garage which is a plus since parking in the old town can be a challenge. I ate at the restaurant twice for dinner and it was delicious both times.
