"We stayed one week in one of the appartments outside of the castle. We had the big one (No. 1.B) with 4 bedrooms. So a lot of space for 4 people like us, it might be a bit more cosy with the supposed 8 people max. capacity. The environment around the castle is great, pure Tuscan, great views of the countryside and most of the Tuscan attractions are close by to be reached within a daytrip. Rooms were clean and in reasonable shape. The fridge was big enough and had a huge freezer compartment....

The air was stale and moldy smelling, the furniture was dated and dirty and there were some functional issues with electrical outlets and one of the toilets. "The Castle and surroundings are stunning. The property is right next to the castle and a short walk to the pool. It had everything we needed for our 3 days whist we explored the cities of Florence, Pisa and Siena, all a short car journey away. Because of the location you definitely needed a car. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend. Beautiful place."

"We loved our stay. The property is gorgeous, tucked away in the beautiful hills of Tuscany. The view in the morning with the sun coming up was incredibly picturesque. Worth noting that the property is located in the hills and out of the way of any amenities but it does have a Conad (supermarket) about 25-30 mins away. Place is clean and well organised, plenty of towels etc."
