"This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the hillside far away from the hustle of a town however close enough to go to the beaches and local tavernas. They staff are excellent always welcoming, the rooms were clean and we booked a suite with a private pool this was amazing. We loved the privacy and the fantastic view over the hills. "What an absolute gem of a place to unwind and slow down overseeing the beautiful libyan sea coast. The host was very welcoming, helpful and easy to communicate. Located beautifully in a peaceful area of Crete - the place felt in every aspect mindful of its nature, native flora and fauna. With fully functioning and equipped facilities and a bonus 5 mins walk to the beach, we enjoyed every month and rested very well. Can’t wait to visit again!"

Agapi Beach Resort - Premium All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"Food excellent, staff lovely, so friendly and helpful. Room not as described with a sea view but a questionable side view despite ringing the hotel to check before booking. Had poor weather on last couple of days and rain came into the from under the front door soaking all bags. When i mentioned it to reception she asked how deep the water was!! but in general it was a lovely 4 star hotel and I would recommend it."

Civitel Creta Beach

8/10 Good

"9 days B&B Breakfast good with lots of choice. Paid for evening meal once but not worth it so wouldn’t suggest all inclusive. Good beach with lots of free beds & umbrella’s. Pool beds always reserved early so never got to use it but beach good anyway. Beach bungalow could do with updating but was cleaned daily and fresh bedding. Complimentary drinks in room, fridge, storage. Resort clean and tidy. Would recommend."

Emi Seaside

10/10 Excellent

"Had the most relaxing time at the Emi Seaside. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Wonderful setting right on the beach, pool area and breakfast and lunch spot. Rooms spotless. Restaurants and supermarkets in the road behind. We went into Heraklion a couple of times to shop and mooch. Would definitely return."

Paralos Irini Mare

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel location is fantastic, very peaceful, with well kept and beautiful grounds. Food is excellent, staff and service equally so. Whilst the rooms are basic ours was very clean and the swim up pool, whilst shared with two other rooms, felt private. We had a wonderful ten days all inclusive, which was excellent value. We'd 100% return! Not a place to go if you're bothered about watching television 🙂"

Paralos The Maxine - Adults Only

8/10 Good

"Great sea views and easy 5 minute walk to Agia Galini beach. Room 212 was spacious, bed was comfortable, pool was beautiful and had ample sun-beds and shade, and the AC worked great. Improvements that would enhance the stay include figuring out and fixing the sewage smell in the room and fixing the moldy trim outside shower. Lacked basic amenities like hair conditioner, had a bottle of hand lotion in the shower instead of hair conditioner- which was really weird. When you leave the room, all electricity turns off which means the mini refrigerator and freezer turn off- you come back to melted ice and warm beer. There is no restaurant on site. They do have a snack bar at the pool open until 5 pm. They have buffet breakfast with a lot of hot and cold choices each morning. If you want real orange juice, cappuccino, or espresso there is an additional charge (most hotels include these options via self serve machines). In the evening they offer a buffet dinner. Bar is open til late but does not serve food or snacks. We really missed having a restaurant to order from. Good news is plenty of great beach bars and tavernas were short walk away along the beach."
